Inventive ways to use wallpaper

Beautiful patterned wallpaper is a great way to add colour and interest to a room.  Here are some different ways you can use the design you love….

Inside a bookcase

Make your favourite books, picture frames and pieces of art pop against a bold colour or pattern.  This is also a great way to add your own style to a rented home without having to touch the walls. 

On a staircase

Wallpapering the steps of your staircase will turn them into a feature as people enter your home.  It may be best to leave walls quite neutral for balance, and it’s important to consider whether you would like the same pattern all the way up or a mix of wallpapers in in a similar colour palette.

The fridge

This look may not be practical for everyone, but it can be a way of transforming a dull fridge you don’t like into a stand out piece in your kitchen.

A piece of Art

If you have leftover pieces of wallpaper lying around the house then this is a great way to use them up.  You can have fun playing with different patterns and colours and also choosing the frame itself.  These pretty French style wallpapers look great with the ornate frames.
