Valentine’s Day Dilemmas Solved

Love it or hate it, you can’t really escape Valentine’s Day, so we’ve put together a few tips to get you ready and in the spirit!

  1. You don’t have to spend a fortune to have a great Valentine’s, you can get the same effect by choosing thoughtful gifts or just by spending time together.  Why not go for a long romantic walk, or visit an art gallery or museum?
  2. Cooking a special meal for your partner is one of the simplest ways to make them feel taken care of, so get those cookery books at the ready!
  3. How about recreating your first date together?  You could book the same restaurant or visit the same cinema to bring back the excitement of when you first met.
  4. If you prefer to spend the night in on the sofa with a rom-com and a bottle of wine, then why not add a touch of romance to your home you can enjoy all year round? If your home needs updating think pinky red hues and floral accessories.  We particularly love this Chelsea Velvet fabric in Rose paired with striped and floral scatter cushions.  For that extra valentines feel add some soft lighting and fresh flowers-roses would be perfect if you've been lucky enough to receive some!
