When Juliet and her family moved into her home over 28 years ago, they invested in a suite she loved – one that sat at the heart of family life, offering familiar comfort and fitting perfectly within the living room. Nearly three decades later, it was beginning to look tired, and Juliet was faced with the decision of whether to replace it with something new.

Fortunately, having previously been delighted with our services, she decided it was worth speaking to the team at Plumbs about reviving it instead.

After requesting a free home visit, Juliet was contacted by Amanda, her local Plumbs Home Consultant, who arranged a convenient time to visit. Bringing with her a wide selection of fabric samples, friendly advice, and years of expertise, Amanda helped Juliet explore the different options available. After confirming there was plenty of life left in the furniture frames, made-to-measure covers offered the perfect solution.

Juliet had already spotted our Bloom, Fawn fabric online but wasn’t sure if it would work in her space. However, seeing the sample in her home – and with Amanda’s expert guidance – gave her the confidence to be bold, choosing the beautiful floral design to transform her sofa. The machine-washable fabric was an added bonus, making it ideal for visiting grandchildren and everyday life.

With precise measurements taken, the details were sent to our team in Lancashire, where the new covers were carefully crafted before being returned to Amanda for expert fitting.
