Between our Made-to-Measure Covers and Reupholstery Service Plumbs believe we can cover any sofa, chair, footstool and suite on the market. Your local home consultant will be able to advise which your best option is based on your budget and requirements.

Can I order online?
Due to their bespoke nature, you cannot order Plumbs covers, reupholstery or curtains online. However, with our free and friendly home consultancy service, our experts come to you at a convenient date and time with no obligation to place an order.
The benefit of a home consultant visit, rather than ordering online, is you get to see and feel the fabric and how it fits in with your current soft furnishings. You’ll also be provided with a no-obligation quote to consider at your leisure.

Can I use my own fabric?
Unfortunately, we’re unable to create covers or reupholster furniture using customer-supplied fabrics. All Plumbs fabrics undergo strict quality and safety testing, which means we’re unable to accept external materials. The good news is, our extensive collection of over 800 fabrics offers something for every style and home — helping you create a space you’ll truly love.

With her living room in need of a fresh new look, Pam was keen to update her well-loved sofas. Her family, however, were reluctant to part with the comfort and quality they had grown attached to. The perfect solution came in the form of made-to-measure sofa covers, bringing a refreshed style while keeping the furniture everyone loved.

When her local Plumbs home consultant visited, Pam was hoping to find a compromise that combined style and practicality for the whole family. Their sofas fit perfectly in the space, and she still loved their shape, but she wanted something that would create a softer, more inviting feel in the room.
Together, they explored fabrics that would be both practical and welcoming, with the added benefit of being machine washable. Bayswater in Bamboo stood out with its cotton-rich texture and neutral tone, perfectly complementing her countryside-inspired interior. Once the fabric was chosen, each sofa was carefully measured, and the covers were made and fitted for a flawless finish.
The transformation exceeded expectations. The sofas looked refreshed and stylish, the room felt warm and welcoming, and even Martha, her dog, happily reclaimed her favourite spot. Pam couldn’t have been happier — achieving the perfect balance of comfort, style, and practicality for the whole family.
